Kachemak Kids

Kachemak Kids Early Learning Center is a non-profit, cooperative-style, early education and childcare center located in Homer, Alaska. We believe in the value of play and creative exploration as a means for children to develop a life-long love of learning, effective skills of collaboration, an understanding of the importance of kindness and respect among all, and an ability to think with innovation.

We honor the ideas and passions that each student brings to our group and our curriculum emerges from our student’s interests. Teachers are co-learners with the children and are here to nurture each child’s natural curiosity. We value a strong partnership between home and school, and provide many opportunities and means for families to share in their child’s early education. We welcome your visit and the chance to answer your questions. We currently have full and part time spaces available, and we welcome drop-in care as space allows.
